Matt Dayton has consistently ranked as a “Top Gun” broker for SSF with 48 successful transactions and over $20 million in sales in 2017. In 2018 Matt was the second broker for SSF to reach the company base level selling goal and is on track to exceed 2017 sales. Matt’s experience extends to land development projects, luxury home sales and resort sales. Matt is characterized by his ability to empathize with his clients, putting their needs first. He prides himself on the integrity and respect he treats all of his clients with, along with his ability and willingness to do what is needed to get the job done, so that his clients can relax and enjoy the lifestyle that drew them to this amazing mountain community.

Matt considers himself blessed to be a Breckenridge native. He gladly welcomes people into the community with his warm personality and inviting nature. Matt’s family legacy of serving Summit County’s guests started with his dad, Gene Dayton (aka Papa Nordic), in the 60’s with a small ski touring school. Gene co-founded the Breckenridge Outdoor Education Center (outdoor adaptive learning school) in 1977 and is the started the Breckenridge Nordic Center in 1984 which he and his wife Therese still operate today. Growing up in a family business that is dedicated to the community has taught Matt the true meaning of customer service. Matt’s dedication to the sport of skiing earned him a spot on the 2002 Salt Lake Olympic team, where he anchored the 4th place Nordic Combined relay team. After the Olympics, Matt moved back to Summit County, gained experience and knowledge in the construction trade, before becoming a full time Realtor.  Matt and his wife share their love of skiing, hiking, biking, and all things Summit County with their three children.

In addition to putting his client’s needs first, Matt values giving to those in need throughout the world, with a portion of his sales commissions going to help support Tree of Life Ministries, an organization that assists and cares for impoverished people in Nicaragua. Jonathan Enns was born and raised in a small central California   farming community and learned the value of a hard days’ work from early   on.  After attending Biola University in Southern California, graduating   Summa Cum Laude, with a B.S. in Business Management and a minor in   Biblical Studies, Jonathan followed his passion for the mountains, moving   to Summit County one week after graduation in 2010. 

 Jonathan spent his first couple years in Summit County, selling vacation lodging for Vail Resorts, giving him an in-depth knowledge of the various subdivisions and neighborhoods throughout Keystone and Breckenridge.  After moving on from Vail Resorts, he spent a number of years as the marketing manager and buyer for a local ski and bike shop.  In 2015, Jonathan began working for Slifer Smith and Frampton, and in 2016, he came alongside Matt Dayton to better meet the needs of their growing business and client base.  Jonathan’s background in sales and marketing has made him a valuable addition, and together, Jonathan and Matt have seen record sales in each of the past two years.

When not in the office or holding an open house, you’ll most likely find Jonathan riding the local trails on his mountain bike, in the grocery store picking up ingredients for his next kitchen creation, or at The Crown with a good book and cup of tea.
